Megan is made of a wonderful soft vinyl, and has a soft white flannel fully jointed body. Her arms and legs are 3/4 length. She is a very cuddly chubby baby! Megan has black hair, black rooted eyelashes, and black painted eyebrows I washed throughly, and painted with many layers of genesis heat set paints. I painted small details, and no little spot was forgotten. She has small veins on her wrists and ankles, and small blood vessels you can see all over her if you look closely - even on her eye lids, like a real baby! You can easily see her mottled skin tone! Genesis paints will not fade or peel. ** All painting was on the outside of the doll, so there is no worry of bruising. I used a soft german made flannel jointed body for her, and used premium ultra plush fiberfill and fine glass beads to give her a realistic weight and feel. She also has a faint baby powder scent. This baby doll is truly OOAK(one of a kind), I mix my own paint colors, so they are truly unique! Her hair is black mohair from Slumberland Nursery. This reborn baby doll was made and stored in a 100% smoke free home. All photos were taken without flash in natural light, and at different times of day. Some photos were taken in direct sunlight for a more dramatic effect. I am not very good at photo taking so I tried to take as many pictures in different lighting as I could. A few were taken in the sunlight. Reborn dolls should not be stored in direct sunlight! PLEASE BE PATIENT WHILE THE PAGE LOADS! I've taken lots of high resolution photos, so it might take a few minutes!               Megan's hair was micro-rooted with a 43g forked rooting needle - one or two hairs at a time. I used a wavy black mohair, and is sealed on the inside of her head, so you can carefully wash and style her hair. This can be styled straight or wavy...it is very easy to style. She has the cutest swirl crown on the top of her head! She has black hand painted eyebrows, and black eyelashes. Her eyes are closed. Megan has a magnet for her pacifier, but I can remover it on request. This is a strong craft magnet that should be kept away from electronics, including pacemakers and computers. This is a collectible reborn doll intended for adults, not children under 12. This doll is NOT over painted. There is no excessive blushing, etc. She looks just like a real 2 or 3 day old infant! She is a light colored African American, or a biracial, or any light brown ethnic group. I used Genesis heat set paints to make this beautiful reborn baby. Each layer was carefully applied and then heated to set. These paints will NOT fade or peel. Her toe nails, finger nails and lips have been painted and triple sealed.     Her nose has been opened and backed with felt. Her toe nails and finger nails have been subtly detailed without looking artificial. Megan has a lightly mottled skin tone, and since she is biracial you can see some of her blue veins! The soles of her feet and palms of her hands are slightly slighter than the rest of her.. I added a few drops of baby powder scent to the inside of her body, and if you want this removed, please let me know. It will last a long time and smells like a fresh clean baby. Belly plate is also from Tamie Yarie Her hair is black wavy mohair. You can spray it with a bit of water to style it the way you want. It was rooted one or two hairs at a time with a tiny rooting needle. It looks like natural hair growing out of her sculpt. Megan wears newborn or 0-3 month size clothing. She wears stage 2 size diapers Her body had been weighted for a realistic feel. I used ultra fine glass beads in her limbs, body and head. I also used soft non-clumping "down-like" Stuffing. Megan has hand painted black eyebrows, and black hand rooted eyelashes.. I took closeup photos so you can see the mottling and soft veining!
